PEC Zwolle U19 vs Global Football Academy

Another great match and opportunity for our players against top division club PEC Zwolle. After a nervous start and because someone slipt away at the back we came down 1-0. After 15 minutes we lost our nerves and began to play the way we can. Tom stood up again after a sloppy start, Shaquil closed the defense with his incredible speed and Ryley Reemnet and Arantis Roep were very creative on the midfield. Our striker Shaba made a great 1-1 with a chip over the goalie after a nice through pass from Olly Brown. In the 45th minute they made the 2-1 after a good run from their number 10.

In the 2nd halve we had more space to play our game and build up from the back. Taking risk resulted however in another 2 mistakes what made the end result 4-1. This is the way you learn. Our way of playing comes with risk but we are nog focussed on the result but on the development of each individual player.

Looking back at the game we can improve on our awareness and tactical ability on the pitch but we gave 100% again and enjoyed it. That is what we want to see in our academy in every training and every game.

Every game is an opportunity to show yourself again in front of clubs and scouts!!
