FC Twente o19 - GFA Deventer City
On the 8th of June during our recruitment camp we played a competitive match against FC Twente U19 which is a well established youth academy in the Netherlands.
Game report:
After a difficult start with loads of high pressing from our opponent and giving a way too much space in between the lines we managed to keep the score 0 – 0 partly due to great goal keeping of our Zimbabwean goalie Martin.
In the second half we were better organized and able to create chances against this great team with loads of young talented players. With some chances from our striker Danillo and our left midfielder Kelvin at the end of the match we could have won the match. In the end it was a great result after a week of hard work and really happy to see improvement in such a short period of time!! Great team effort and ready for our next match against FC Emmen U19.
